We spent a couple of days doing some much needed repairs and cleaning. Thanks to Al Reigert, Ken Lommen, Lee Neeley, Don Earhart for all their help. The building has a brand new look. There is still some final touches to be completed. We have had many complements.Our Visit from Rich Evens & Lanny Schuultz with there wiveswent well. They were served 1437 burgers while the wives were treatedto Mexican dinner.The PER Dollar an ounce steak feed was a great sucess. We servedapproximately 55 people some great New Yorks. Hopefully we plan to doit again. We welcomed 110 veterans with their wives to a spaghetti dinner with dessert provided by Marvin & Lynn VonFeldt. This dinner is planned every year at this time.Our Memorial Service for our departed members will again be on the 4th of December. I hope all will plan to attend, refreshments will be served following. Service is planned at 2:00p.m.We are having tom & Jerry’s the night of country store on the 15th and also on the 23rd from 4 to 6. Ken Lommen always does a great job mixingup the spirits. There is still a need for help in taking care of the hides. Remember theproceeds all go to our veterans fund.In reading the history of the Elks I found some very interesting peoplewere members Andy Deevine was a Exalted Ruler at a California Lodge.Santa will be visiting the Lodge again this year on the 18th. therewill be candy for the children. Bring your camera and sit on Santa’s lap. Check out the add for the Menu, time and cost. I am planning another fun filled New Years Eve.Taco & Club Tacos continue to pay off for the covering of our Dining room Chairs, they are almost all covered. They look wonderful thanks to all who come in for tacos. We have new people working on team two. We welcome Richard & Gloria Johnson. The need for someone to help on team 3 is still needed. Brenda & Danny Creed and BJ & Bob Patterson will be leaving for the winter and many thanks to them and all there help.December will be a busy month for the Lodge, Christmas Parties,Memorial Service, Santa Brunch and the big job of Christmas Boxes. We will be wrapping gifts on the 16th and putting the boxes together at 8:00 a.m. on the 17th. We can use a lot of help both to wrap and filling the boxes and to deliver to those who can not pick them up. We will be doing 50 boxes again this year.Exalted Ruler Bob Bales
